My top red flags. Back away slowly, and do not make any sudden movements.

1. Compulsive lying - It could be an underlying issue with antisocial, narcissistic, or histrionic disorder.
2. Keeping tabs on you - Not in a cute way. It may be misinterpreted as being protective. Stalking, wanting to know your passwords, or showing up unannounced.
3. Past trauma - While most people genuinely are working through trauma. These people use it as heavy lifting for the reasons they are this way, or why they treat you badly. Playing the victim can only get you so far.
4. Manipulation - Into doing something you don't want to do. To isolate you, or access money.
5. Drama llamas - Why are we fighting all the time? It wasn't like this with my other ex's. A relationship isn't meant to be hard.
6. The center of the universe - They expect everything from you, and give nothing in return. There is no compromise.
7. Addiction - It can come in the form of: substance abuse, cheating (the thrill of getting away with it), or gambling.
8. Nope, and nope - Using your vulnerability against you.
